Get To Know Us
Hi! I'm Christina, owner of North Georgia Equine Massage and Bodywork. First I want to say thank you so much for your interest in equine massage and bodywork! I am passionate about equine wellness and love to share that with others. Whether your horse is a competitive show jumper, barrel racer, or a pasture pet, their health and comfort are important.
I personally own two horses. My gelding, Reddington, is about 30 years old. I don't know much about his past, but he is now a happily retired pasture pet living out his days with his seeing-eye pony, Waylon.
Janie is my 7 year old mare. She is beautiful, complicated, and has taught me so much. She challenges me not only as a rider and horse owner, but as a person. I am so thankful to have two wonderful horses who are ever-so kind and distinctly themselves!
I believe that we are never done learning. Every horse is a unique individual with something to teach each of us. I like to take the time to get to know each horse I encounter and listen to what they have to say. Some horses are more guarded and will try to hide issues such as pain, while others are more open to sharing what is bothering them. The key is to take our time and allow these releases and changes to take place as they choose.
If you have any questions or would like to give me a call or text, please don't hesitate! I'm happy to talk. I hope to meet you and your equine partners soon!

We love what we do
I absolutely love spending time with horses. They are a mirror of ourselves in so many ways. Practicing equine bodywork is one of the most rewarding experiences. Watching a horse that has tension built up relax and release that is such an honor. Our horses do so much for us, often carrying our emotional burdens as well as us physically on their backs. It is a joy to help alleviate stress and pressure in their bodies.
